The washers on the upper and lower arms had long since disintagrated.
The lack of washers gave the front end quite a bit of flex that presented
symptoms from time to time. Most often a clunk from the front end as the
nose went up and down with the road. On occasion I'd feel some very
strange sensations while turning. I'm sure the ball joints were a little
roughas well.

I didn't want to do this work myself so I took it over to an old friend
who was willing to do the work at his body shop, Colorado Collision.
He's a detail oriented person, so I felt pretty good about the quality
of the work. I wan't around much when the actual work or disassembly
was done so I don't have the pictures I really wanted to get.
